Do you know how long it takes for the SWA order to be posted after a job order has been requested with the SWA?
Is it immediate or does it take some time for the SWA to process the job order and then post it?
Also do you know where we can see the job order after it has been posted? Is there a public site where we can see the jobs?
Any response is greatly appreciated, especially if you know about mass.

AP not yet received. But EADs have been received for me and my husband (primary applicant). However, my daughter is yet to receive her EAD. Anybody with a similar case? I tried calling IO in USCIS but they say that it may come any time within 90 days of the notice date (not the receipt date!):mad:

The Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY), the Immigration Subcommittee Chairman, told the AP yesterday that he plans on introducing a comprehensive immigration reform bill before Labor Day and then hopes to have a debate on the bill in the fall. Schumer hinted that advocates for highly skilled immigrants are likely to be happier with the bill than those pushing for guest worker reforms for lesser skilled workers and that business and the unions have yet to reach a compromise. Apologize for starting new thread, but this is an urgent request and need attention.
I need to respond to a RFE related to proving Programmer Analyst being a Speciaity occupation.
I researched and found a memo from Terrance Way, Director INS issued a memo on this on December 22, 2000 and is available on AILA Infonet
AILA InfoNet at Doc. No. 01040603
I couldnt locate this memo in USCIS policy guidance memoranda search.
Can some one with access to AILA Infonet, please send me this document

When applying for AP, do we need to submit separate cheques for AP($305) and Biometric($80) or we need to combine both ie., $385 and send as one cheque :confused: ????

I am planning to joing new empoyer on EAD even though I have proper H1B. Because employer do not want to sponser for anything. My wife is planning to go to india during this period and she will be using H4 for travel. My questions are
1. Can I swith to new job even though my wife is not here and she is going to use H4 visa which she got it as aresult of my h1b visa from my privious employer.
2. What are the thing we need to do or check before joining the new employer.
Any help in this regard is highly appriciated.

No that's not the case, there are stringent reqmts for proof of Date of Birth. Passport is not one of them...
Please check other forums where this has been discussed..

My VISA stamped expired long back. I have valid H1 extension and my I94 is valid till October 30 2007. I am in the process of 8 th year H1 extension. Do I need to revalidate my visa to apply I � 485?

I know this must be a issue some of us would have faced. My wife's Birth certificate is in native language. I have got it translated from India on a stamp paper and notarized there itself.
Is this notarized paper a valid birth certificate for 485 ?

I faxed senator's office on sep 9th , then called this monday and they said I should get a response of inquiry in 30 days. No help from congressman's office. It has been more than a month after mailing the letter to them and folllowing up by phone calls. I have given up..
